Week Three

Jayson, Sharon. (2008) Sex ed: Any link between what teens learn, how they behave? Retreived from: http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2008-09-07-sex-education-main_N.htm
This one was helpful in showing the of sex education.

NCSL.(2011). State Policies on Sex Education in Schools. Retrieved from http://www.ncsl.org/default.aspx?tabid=17077
This source was helpful because it showed the pros of sex ed by giving detailed situations and many statistics. It was accurate and up to date because it was written by the government.

Serpe, Gina. (2011). Teen Mom Amber Earns -280k a year from MTV. Retrieved from http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/40853908/ns/today-entertainment/t/teen-mom-amber-earns-k-year-mtv/#.Tm1W84L
This source was good at showing the negative effects of sex, and proving the hardships of what could happen.

i have done some other research but i am not sure if i want to use it as a source yet so i would like to a little more.

I checked the sources out pretty well i went through them to make sure that they were current which they were. Another thing i wanted to make sure was that they weren't someone's opinions.

I have come to the conclusion that it hasn't been to difficult to find information but that it is more difficult to find the relevancy to link it to my topic. A lot of the research I have found have been very broad and I was anticipating a little more narrow research.

  1. Ok, I think that you have some worthwhile sources. I like your discussion about your research and your linking said research to your topic.

I would suggest, for future reference, that your summaries be more in-depth. A sentence is not enough to really convey a strong meaning of a text.
